A film that focuses on a breadwinner and her family, serving as a tribute to the unsung heroes who carry the weight of their loved ones' dreams on their shoulders.. It's hard to explain how I felt watching the film, however, kudos to the cast and crew of the film, and I want to thank those who wrote this masterpiece. For me as a Filipino, working abroad, away from family, is not an easy thing to do, especially when your entire family depends on you. As an OFW myself, I could say that some of the scenes where Vice is in Taiwan are true. Although I don't experience it myself, some of my colleagues would work day and night just to provide for their families, and it breaks my heart every time. I hope Filipinos will someday understand that OFWs are not your ATMs. Their money is not unlimited, their future is not promised either. Visas can expire and expire at any time, and if that happens, who would be eligible for them?
