On the 10th August 2025, Gwagware Foundation, IIIT to Partner on Islamic Open University. During the visit, Chairman Alh. Yusuf Ali Musawa reflected on the Foundation’s journey of almost a decade, its mission, and achievements. He credited the vision of the Foundation’s founder, Governor Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, for laying the groundwork for its growth.Led by West African Coordinator Prof. Bashir S. Galadanci, IIIT commended Gwagware Foundation’s humanitarian work and announced plans to establish an Islamic Open University in Katsina, alongside certified skills training under TVET. Under the arrangement, IIIT will provide the academic framework while Gwagware Foundation will provide the physical infrastructure.Both parties agreed to move forward with discussions to formalize the partnership — a step set to boost education and intellectual empowerment in the North-West region.
