The Katsina State Executive Council has approved the deployment of 700 motorcycles, 20 Hilux vehicles, and Bufalo bulletproof jeeps to hard-to-reach areas such as Mantau in Malumfashi and other locations currently under threat.
This strategic move is a tactical response to the challenge of rough terrain, which bandits have long exploited to their advantage.
With these new vehicles, security personnel will now be able to:
✅ Access remote hideouts,
✅ Pursue criminals more effectively,
✅ Ensure the full restoration of peace and security across Katsina State.
