ABOUT US
Gwagware Foundation is a Non-governmental organization founded by Governor Radda in 2015. It was founded to provide succor and relief to economically disadvantaged in Katsina State. To date, more than 25,000 less privileged and vulnerable benefited immensely from the foundation.
Radda established the Gwagware Foundation in 2016. The foundation helps people from rural communities in improving their living conditions through the provision of basic social amenities. He supports them with foodstuff, medical care, water supply, and employment opportunities.
At Gwagware Foundation, our mission is clear: to alleviate poverty and create sustainable opportunities for the marginalized communities of Katsina State. Guided by the visionary leadership of our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mal. Dikko Umar Radda, who holds the esteemed traditional title of Gwagwaren Katsina and also serves as the Governor of the state, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most.
Through a range of initiatives and activities, we strive to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures. From providing essential resources such as food, shelter, and healthcare to offering educational scholarships and vocational training programs, we believe in equipping our beneficiaries with the tools they need to thrive independently.
One of the cornerstones of our work is our unwavering support for orphans and vulnerable children. We recognize that every child deserves love, care, and opportunities to reach their full potential. Through our orphan care programs, we provide holistic support, including education, healthcare, and emotional well-being services, to ensure that these young ones have the chance to dream big and achieve their goals.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to fostering community development through
partnerships and collaborations with local stakeholders, government
agencies, and other charitable organizations. By pooling our resources
and expertise, we can maximize our impact and create lasting change that
reverberates throughout Katsina State and beyond.
